Play offline: no wifi, no app to install
Rat Race is a browser game that keeps working without a connection, like the Chrome dino game. Open it once while you are online: the game is then stored on your device and opens on the train, in a tunnel or in airplane mode.
How to play offline
- Open ratrace.sitraka.lu once with a connection.
- Optional: add the game to your home screen. On iPhone (Safari): Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android or on a computer (Chrome): browser menu, then Install or Add to Home screen.
- With no network, open the game from that icon or from the same address.
What works offline
All 65 cities, the Commuter level, the Alzette mission and the Daily commute: the course of the day is computed on your device from the date. Progress, coins and records are saved on the device.
What needs a connection
The leaderboard and the optional account, which keeps your progress across devices. A run started offline may not enter the leaderboard; nothing else in the game depends on it.
